Micronauts Hydro Copter

I had a hydro copter as a kid, and was able to pick up some on eBay to replace the one from my youth. I have fond memories of floating the hydro copter in the neighborhood creek.

I have been trying to clean up the copters I bought on line. First was the task of sorting out what I have.

Ideal Supercity Skyscraper (pt 3)

Finally got through the instructions. I like the results, but it took me awhile to assemble. I'm no student of architecture, so not sure, but this reminds me of Bauhaus, and the internet tells me that the style is modernism in the international style. Reminds me of Wayne State in Detroit. Added some 1/43 scale accessories, some Motorific track, and an Aston Martin to the scene. Really dresses it up.

Civilians and Scenery

Wanted to show some civilian vehicles for a change.

Resin model of a 1930s (I think) sedan.  Period vehicles are hard to find, and this one is too small at 1/87 scale.  Rangers from Dragon's LCM(3) kit, and one from FoV.

Eko

Eko is a Spanish company that manufactures 1/87 scale models.  Not the sharpest kits, and I can't tell for sure if the company is still in business.  Walthers, a model railroad supply company, used to carry them, and they cost around 3 bucks or so.  I bought their DUKWs and some 2 1/2 ton trucks to augment my forces.  Way too small to be used next to 1/72 scale kits, but sometimes its nice to just have something painted up and on the table.

Ideal Supercity Skyscraper

Ideal Toy Company created a series of building kits scaled to compliment its Motorific toys. The Motorific cars are around 1/43 scale, although its not exact as all of the cars share a common chassis. I found this toy on eBay and was lucky to get it. The seller was local and I was able to pick it up and avoid the shipping. 

Love those '60s graphics

The box was in good condition, with some minor wear.

The toy was mostly mint in its original packaging. Some of the inner packages were opened but most of them were factory sealed.
